IEE utilizes X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) analyzers to identify lead-based paint on surfaces with the greatest accuracy and the least substrate disturbance.   The XRF instrumentation reports lead concentrations in milligrams of lead per square centimeter (mg/cm 2) and, combined with a Master Lead Inspector / Risk Assessor’s expertise, is a key component in the most accurate and complete lead detection / reporting available.
